SAINTS OF SKID ROW
For decades, Skid Row has occupied a unique place in Los Angeles—a neighborhood marked by profound human struggle. This is where homelessness, poverty, and public safety challenges have become deeply woven into the fabric of daily life. Hidden behind the human suffering are the voiceless animals that are trying to survive in such a unpredictable environment.
In a neighborhood long defined by homelessness and social inequality, what becomes of the animals that share its streets? This project explores the intersection of human and animal vulnerability in Skid Row, revealing stories of struggle, compassion, and survival in the heart of Los Angeles.
